Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) used with other campus services (excludes Google)

Service Description

In addition to Google MFA, many other digital services use another version of MFA that needs a separate configuration. These applications include Brightspace, myOswego, Zoom, Adobe, Office365, Banner, and more.  Use the information below to help you configure MFA for these additional services.

How do I set up MFA for other campus applications?

Start by setting up your second layer of authentication from your laptop or desktop computer.

The available options for your second layer of authentication include the following. We recommend setting up multiple ways in case you get stuck using one way.  For example, employees could set up the Microsoft Authenticator app and your office phone. That way if you happen to forget your smartphone, you could still receive a code on your office phone.

  • The Microsoft Authenticator app installed on your smartphone,

  • A code sent as a text to your cell phone,

  • A code called to your cell phone, office phone, or an alternative phone.

Need to change your MFA options?

You can login to the MFA setup website to review and edit your existing MFA options.  Please remember to always have two verification methods.
