Announcements - Create an Announcement

Overview

Announcements are a good way to provide learners with course updates.

Tips:

  • The Newest Announcement will always appear on top. Students can always access Announcements they have hidden by using the Show All Announcements link at the bottom of the widget.
  • If an end date is not used when setting up an Announcements, the Announcements will stay on the front home page of the course until they are manually hidden by a student using the X on the far left of the Announcement.
  • Step 6 shares details about how availability dates work with Announcements.

    2. If you set an End Date, the Announcement will become hidden from students.
