Overview
This article explains how to use LakerPrint. You can upload, email, use the Pharos Print mobile app, or use the Pharos Print Chrome extension to submit your document to LakerPrint. Then physically visit any LakerPrint station to release the document to the printer.
Instructions
1. Use ONE of the following ways to submit your document to the LakerPrint Cloud.
***Please note, flash drives and email do not function at LakerPrint release stations.***
- Upload: Using a web browser such as Chrome, upload the document to be printed to https://lakerprint.oswego.edu.*
- Email: Send a blank email (no subject, no message text) from your SUNY Oswego email address to lakerprint@oswego.edu and attach the document you want printed.
- Pharos Print Mobile App: Download the Pharos Print app and print documents from your mobile device.
- Chrome Extension: Install the Pharos Chrome extension and print documents from the Chrome browser on PCs, Macs, and Chromebooks.
- QR Code Job Release: Use the Pharos Print App on your mobile device and scan the QR code at the printer to send your print jobs to it.
2. Release at a LakerPrint Station.
***Acceptable uploads and email attachments include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher, and Visio files, image and text files (as attachments), and PDF files. To print a document outside of these file formats, please use the “Save As” or “Print” functionality within the application to convert it to PDF.***
