Overview
- To use LakerPrint with iOS devices, you will need to install the "Pharos Print" app available in the Apple App Store and Google Play.
- Once logged into the app, you can upload documents to the LakerPrint cloud from your mobile device.
Instructions
To submit documents to the LakerPrint Cloud with mobile devices including iPhone, iPad, and Android devices:
- Install the "Pharos Print" app from the App store or Google Play.
- Once installed, launch the Pharos Print app on your device. It will ask for a server address and port number. Enter lakerprint.oswego.edu for the server address and 443 for the port number. Then click "Connect." Note this is a one-time step.

- It will then ask for your Laker NetID and password. Enter your credentials and click "Log On."

Once you have logged in, you will be taken to your "Job List" where you can review any documents that might already be in the LakerPrint cloud.

- You can use the "Upload" button to upload files locally stored on your device. Note that not all file formats may be supported.
- If you use apps to access files stored in the cloud (not on your device), you can try using the app itself to print to the LakerPrint Cloud. The Google suite of apps (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides) will allow you to do this. On iOS devices, follow these instructions:
- Open the document using the appropriate app. For this example, we have opened a Google Doc using the "Docs" app. Select the three dots in the upper right corner of the document to open a menu. Select "Share & Export."

- Then select "Send a Copy."

- Select "PDF" for the format and click "OK"

- Select the Pharos Print app from the list of apps that show. You may need to slide the apps to the left in order to see the app.

- Select "Print" to confirm.

- You can then go back to the Pharos Print app and see the document listed in your "Job List."
- To adjust the print settings of a document, select it in the Job List, then click on the "Print options" tab at the bottom of the window. You can adjust color, double siding, number of copies, pages per side, and page range settings.

- You are now ready to release any documents in your "Job List" by visiting any one of the LakerPrint release stations. Note that documents are stored in LakerPrint Cloud for 48 hours.
- If you'd like to log out of the "Pharos Print" app, select "Log out" from the yellow banner at the top of the app.
