Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is required with the use of a SUNY Oswego Laker NetID. There are two MFA methods, one to be used with Google and the other to be used with various other digital services including but not limited to Brightspace, myOswego, Adobe, and Office365.

Some campus applications use another version of MFA outside of Google MFA that needs a separate configuration. These applications include Brightspace, myOswego, Zoom, Banner, and more.

Google Multi-factor authentication (MFA), also known as 2-step verification, is Google's method for securing accounts. SUNY Oswego uses it with our LakerApps suite of applications (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, etc.) to provide more security to digital accounts and services.
