Overview
This document contains instructions for how to find the Machine Address Code (MAC address) for the following operating systems:
- Windows XP
- Windows Vista
- Windows 7
- Windows 8/8.1
- Windows 10
- Windows 11
- Windows Surface RT
Instructions
- Hold Windows + R to open the Run dialog.

- In the Run dialog, type cmd in the text field.

- Type the following command: ipconfig /all.

- To find your wireless MAC address, locate Wireless LAN adapter Wi-Fi. The MAC address is listed as the Physical Address.
- To find your wired MAC address, look for Ethernet adapter Ethernet or Ethernet Adapter Local Area Connection. The MAC address is listed as the Physical Address.

The MAC address will be in the following format: xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx.
