Overview
This article outlines instructions on how to find the MAC address for a Playstation Machine (3,4, and 5)
Overall, the instructions are divided into sections for:
Instructions
1. Power up the PlayStation 3 without any disc in the drive.
2. Once the PlayStation 3 operating system has loaded, select Settings.
3. Select System Settings.
4. Select System Information.
5. The physical address will be listed under MAC Address.
The MAC address will be in the following format: xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx.
1. On the XMB, arrow up to the very top until you see the XMB Menus. Scroll over to the right to Settings.
2. Go to Network.
3. Select View Connection Status.
4. From this screen, you will see the wired and wireless MAC address.
The MAC address will be in the following format: xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx.
1. From the home screen, select the gear icon (settings) in the upper right.
2. Select System.
3. Select Console Information
4. Note the MAC address (Wi-Fi) displayed at the bottom of the list.
The MAC address will be in the following format: xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx.
