How to securely print using OswegoPrint for Macs (for employees)

Overview

This article describes how to securely print and release a document using OswegoPrint.

Instructions

  1. On your computer, use the application's print function to bring up the print options.

  2. When selecting a printer to print to, you'll need to select either the "Toshiba Secure Release" or the "HP Secure Release" options depending on whether the printer you are printing to is a Toshiba model or an HP model. If you do not see these listed, choose the option that allows you to see more printers.  For example, when printing from Google Chrome, you would select "See more..."

Window that shows the list of printers available to print to. "Save as PDF," "HP Secure Release," and "Toshiba Secure Release" are listed as options.

  3. Once the appropriate printer has been selected, choose your application's "Print" button.
  4. You can now walk to an OswegoPrint printer to release the document. Please see "How to release a document at a printer using OswegoPrint for employees" for instructions on how to release the document at the printer.
