How To Reset a Proxy's PIN in Proxy Access Management

Overview

This article contains instructions on how a proxy's PIN can be reset for the Proxy Access Management Portal from the perspective of the student and the proxy.

Instructions

Student Interface

1. Navigate to "Proxy Management" in myOswego and Expand the profile of the existing proxy whose PIN needs to be reset.

2. Click on "Reset PIN" after which the proxy will receive an email with instructions on resetting the PIN.

Parent Interface

1. An email will be sent to the proxy once the student processes the PIN Reset. The proxy should click on the Banner link sent in the email.

2. Use the action password received in the email in the "Action Password" field of the page in Banner. Then, click on "Submit".

3. Fill out all the required fields to set up the PIN. Then, click on "Save".
