Employee "Mapped" Printing

Service Description

Currently, employee printing is done using "mapped" printers.  Employee computers have to be "mapped" to their department's specific printers in order to print to them.  Most departments are also using a secure method of printing where documents are sent to the cloud and then released at the printer when the user is ready for the physical copy.

You can request assistance with this service if you need to have your computer set up to print to a department's printer.  This can be needed for new employees, new computers, and/or employees who switch to a different department.

Cost

Under the "mapped" printing model, departments pay for their own paper.  Non-academic departments also pay for the printers, maintenance and toner.
