How to Send Documents to LakerPrint via Email

Summary

Sending documents to LakerPrint via email is quick and simple. Just compose a new email to lakerprint@oswego.edu, attach the document you want to print, and then print it from a release station.

Body

Overview

Simply email an attachment (document) to lakerprint@oswego.edu. This will submit your file to the LakerPrint Cloud, allowing you to release the file at any of our LakerPrint Release stations. Please note you must email your files from your SUNY Oswego email address (@oswego.edu). Non-SUNY Oswego email addresses will not function.

Instructions

  1. Log into your LakerApps email account from either your favorite browser like Chrome or use an email app.

  2. Next, compose a new email message to lakerprint@oswego.edu and attach the file(s) you wish to submit to LakerPrint Cloud by pressing the ”Compose" button and entering lakerprint@oswego.edu as the recipient in the new message window. Click the paper clip to attach your file(s).  You can leave the subject and message body blank.  If you are submitting a text file or an image file, please ensure to click the paper clip icon to attach them to the email rather than put them in the message body.

            * Acceptable uploads and attachments include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher, and Visio files, image and text files (as attachments), and PDF files.  To print a document outside of these file formats, please use the “Save As” or “Print” functionality within the application to convert it to PDF.

You should also receive a confirmation email from lakerprint@oswego.edu that your file(s) have been accepted. Additionally, you may login to LakerPrint to see if your file has been accepted. *Please note that you will only be able to release and print your file from one of our LakerPrint release stations.
