New Browser Requirements for HelioCampus - Effective July 2025

Overview

To ensure you have the best experience with student evaluations of teaching, in July 2025, the HelioCampus Assessment and Credentialing platform, formerly AEFIS, updated its browser support to include only the following:

  • Google Chrome (current version or two previous versions)

  • Microsoft Edge (current version or two previous versions)

  • Apple Safari (current version or two previous versions)

HelioCampus no longer provides support for Firefox, Opera, and Internet Explorer

Why This Change:

Based on HelioCampus research, these three supported browsers serve the vast majority of users and allow them to:

  • Deliver better performance and reliability

  • Implement new features more efficiently

  • Maintain stronger security standards

  • Reduce development complexity

What You Need to Do:

  1. Please make sure you are using one of the supported browsers listed above when you access HelioCampus.

  2. You are encouraged to enable auto-updates for your browsers to ensure compatibility and security.

What Happens if You Don't Update?

If you try to use an older or unsupported browser, you will see a notification. While you might still be able to access the platform, Campus Technology Services (CTS) cannot guarantee that everything will work correctly or perform at its best.

Below is an example notification:

Thank you for your understanding!
