Email - Viewing messages in Brightspace

Overview

Emails sent from Brightspace to your campus email address can be viewed inside Brightspace using the Message Alert icon.

Instructions

The email feature in Brightspace works as a notification system. This means any emails sent are viewable from the Message Alert icon.

1. On the campus or course homepage, click the Message Alerts (envelope) icon. 
   
   Note: The orange dot means that there is a new message.
2. Click on the message link.
   
3. From the Inbox, click on the email subject link to read it.
