How to Log into a Campus-owned Windows laptop for the first time

Overview

This article contains instructions on how faculty and staff can log into SUNY Oswego-owned Windows laptops for the first time.

Please note: The faculty/staff member must be on campus in order for this to work.

Instructions

1) Turn the Windows laptop on by pressing the power button located in the upper right corner of the keyboard.

2) Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete at the same time to load the login screen.

3) Click the globe icon located in the lower right of the screen. From the list of available networks, select the Oswego-Secure network, and press Connect.

4) When prompted whether or not to continue connecting to Oswego-Secure, select Connect.

5) Enter your Laker NetID and password when prompted to log into Oswego-Secure.

6) When prompted whether or not to continue connecting to Oswego-Secure, select Connect.

7) Once you've successfully connected to Oswego-Secure, navigate to the main login area, and enter your Laker NetID and password.

8) Upon successful entry of your Laker NetID and password, you will be logged into the Windows laptops.
