How to purchase the Adobe Creative Cloud suite from the SUNY Adobe Storefront

This article helps active students purchase the Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) suite through the SUNY Adobe Storefront at a discounted rate of $75 + tax, good for one year or account inactivation, whichever comes first.

Instructions

  1. Go to https://adobe.itec.suny.edu
  2. Click SUNY Login
  3. Select Oswego campus and click Log In
  4. Log in using your Oswego email/password 
  5. For Adobe Creative Cloud click Add to Cart
  6. Click Proceed to checkout and fulfil payment details

Eligibility

  • Eligibility is limited to active students associated with participating SUNY Adobe ETLA campuses, who have a SUNY Oswego email address.
  • Individuals are purchasing one year of access under this agreement.
  • Note, the subscription is good for one year or until your SUNY Oswego account becomes inactive whichever comes first.

What does an active student mean?

     Active students are those registered for classes either now or in the future.

Where can this be installed?

You can install Creative Cloud apps on up to two computers. If you want to install it on a third computer, you need to deactivate it on one of your previous machines. Learn more about activating and deactivating Creative Cloud apps. Mobile apps are not included in this number.

Do I need an Adobe Account?

No. Once you are assigned a license, you will simply login using your SUNY Oswego email and login credentials. You may not use a personal address.

Can more than one person access this license?

No. This license cannot be shared.

Who will perform the installation of this software?

End users can easily install this software. After enrollment has been completed you will receive an email directly from Adobe granting access to the software. Software will be available in the Creative Cloud Desktop app for quick access or you can login from adobe.com to download the software titles you need.

What if I already have an Adobe subscription?
Students who already purchased a subscription through Adobe using their SUNY Oswego email address and wish to purchase through the SUNY Adobe Storefront should follow these instructions:

  • You should wait for your existing subscription to expire or cancel it before purchasing from the SUNY Adobe Storefront as you’ll be using the same SUNY Oswego email address for the SUNY Adobe Storefront account.
  • Just prior to expiration/cancellation of your existing account, it is important to download any Adobe Cloud files you wish to keep. Your Creative Cloud files are stored on your desktop and the Creative Cloud servers. If you cancel or downgrade your paid membership, you can still access all the files in the Creative Cloud folder on your computer and via the Creative Cloud website. Your account will be downgraded to a free Creative Cloud membership.
  • Just prior to expiration/cancellation, disable any auto-renew you may have setup. 

Students who already purchased a subscription using a non-SUNY Oswego email address and wish to purchase through the SUNY Adobe Storefront should follow these instructions:

  • You can purchase from the SUNY Adobe Storefront at any time, but it may be more cost-effective to let your existing subscription run out or cancel it.
  • If you purchase from the SUNY Adobe Storefront just before the expiration/cancellation of your existing account, you may be able to migrate files to the new account. Otherwise, make sure to download any Adobe Cloud files you wish to keep.
  • Your account will show 2 profiles one for SUNY Oswego and one for your personal profile. You can manage your personal profile and subscription after signing into the SUNY Oswego account.

What if I will be graduating or leaving SUNY Oswego?
