Overview

This article contains instructions on how to access Adobe Creative Cloud applications on a Mac in the computer labs.

Issue

  • A white screen is a known issue with the Mac version of Adobe, but there's at least one effective work around.
  • If students start by launching the Adobe Creative Cloud application instead of the individual apps they should not get the white screen.

Troubleshooting

  1. Launch the Creative Cloud app, students can click the Launchpad icon on the dock.

  1. Then use the search box to look for Creative Cloud. You will need to run the one that says "Creative Cloud".

  1. From there launch any of the Adobe apps.
  2. Lastly, students can also log into the Adobe website, then go to https://account.adobe.com/activated-devices to make sure they are not logged in on another device.
  3. If this does not work for you and you are using a personal computer, try repairing the Adobe Creative Cloud application or uninstalling/emptying it from the trash and reinstalling the Creative Cloud Desktop Manager.
