How to release a document at a printer using OswegoPrint (for employees)

Overview

This article is for employees using the new printing system that SUNY Oswego is implementing called OswegoPrint.  It describes how to securely release (print) a document at an employee designated printer. 

Please note the following:

  • The passcode used to release documents is not your SUNY Oswego Laker NetID password.  It is a separate passcode assigned to you when you use OswegoPrint for the first time.  Reset your passcode from your own computer if you have forgotten it. 

Instructions

  1. Go to an OswegoPrint printer and if necessary, tap the panel to wake the printer up.
  2. Enter your passcode at the "Secure Print Login" screen and click the "Login" button. See note above if you have forgotten your passcode.

  3. Choose one of the following options:
    1. Click the "Print All" button if you want to print all of the documents waiting to be released.

    2. Click the "Review Documents" button to review and select the documents you have waiting and click the "Print" button. 
      1. If you want to change some of the print options, click the check box next to the document and then choose the "Print Options" button.  ​​​​​​

  4. Click the "Sign Out" button from the upper left screen when you have completed your printing, copying, and/or scanning.
