This article details how you can make Google purchases with student memberships such as NFL Sunday Ticket Student Plan and Youtube Premium student membership.

Issue: User requests access to Google Payment services through their Oswego Google account but is denied.
Troubleshooting
We have payment services disabled for our entire oswego.edu domain by design and for security. If you encounter a service that requires payment through Google services and requires a Gmail-based account, please create a personal (non-Oswego.edu) account which is freely available from Google. You can then tie your payment to that account.

You'll notice in both example articles that Google employs a third party (ie SheerID) for validation of your status as a college student, so you do not need your Oswego account for validation itself.
